Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 6, 2026
NyxintheMix is built for a wide range of young learners, including children with different visual, motor, cognitive, and attention needs. Below is an honest look at what is available today and what's on our roadmap. We label each item clearly so families and educators know what to expect right now.
Available today Live
- Large touch targets throughout the child experience, sized for developing fine motor skills.
- No reading required to complete any core activity: instructions are carried by icons, color, motion, and audio, not text alone.
- A "Reduce motion" setting in the Parent Dashboard that turns off the soft pulsing, bobbing, and orbiting animations while keeping every screen fully usable.
- High-contrast color pairings for text and interactive elements.
- Color-blind-safe design: every collectible Sound Seed and status indicator is distinguished by shape and icon, never by color alone.
- No flashing, strobing, or rapid-flicker effects anywhere in the Service.
- No failure states: mistakes are treated as an invitation to try again, never a penalty, which reduces frustration for children with attention or processing differences.
On our roadmap Planned
- Recorded voice guidance for every line of dialogue, so pre-readers and children who benefit from audio support are never blocked by on-screen text.
- Adjustable narration speed.
- Closed captions for spoken content.
- A dyslexia-friendly reading mode for on-screen text aimed at older children in later learning worlds.
- Expanded screen-reader labeling (VoiceOver/TalkBack) across all interactive elements.
