What is NyxintheMix?
NyxintheMix is a musical STEM learning app and kids brand from Fan2See Productions. Children ages 1 through 3rd grade learn reading, writing, math, coding, and science through music with Nyx, a 5 year old DJ and problem solver, and her robot sidekick Boop.
What ages is NyxintheMix for?
The app has four age banded worlds: First Beats for toddlers, Little Learner Lab for ages 3 to 5, Nyx's Academy for kindergarten and 1st grade, and Innovation City for 2nd and 3rd grade. Each child gets their own profile with age appropriate missions.
Is NyxintheMix safe for kids? Does it show ads?
No ads, no chat, no in-app purchases for children, and no failure screens. Child progress stays on your own device, and every external link, purchase, and setting lives behind a parent gate. Our privacy policy includes a Children's Privacy Notice under COPPA.
Is there anything free to try?
Yes. The web app at nyxinthemix.com/play is free to play, and the arcade at /games has 12 free musical learning games, including ten 3D games covering rhythm, counting, shapes, letters, spelling, color science, memory, and beginner coding. No sign up needed.
What subjects does NyxintheMix teach?
Eight learning zones: music, reading, writing, math, coding, science, art, and engineering, all taught through rhythm and song. Lessons carry informal alignments to Common Core standards, shown to grown-ups in the parent dashboard.
